Sarah Allen's Response to the CES Letter

Summary: Sarah Allen was brand new in her affiliation with FAIR at the time that she wrote this response to the CES Letter. By profession, she worked in mortgage compliance and was a freelance copyeditor before becoming a full-time content creator for organizations such as FAIR and Scripture Central. A voracious reader, she loved studying the Gospel and the history of the restored Church. After watching some of her friends lose their testimonies, she became interested in helping others through their faith crises and began sharing what she learned through her studies. Sarah originally started posting these rebuttals to the CES Letter on the faithful Latter-day Saint subreddit (r/lds) and was invited to repost those rebuttals here on the FAIR website. She expressed gratitude to FAIR who gave her the opportunity to share her testimony with a wider audience. Tragically, Sarah passed away on January 12, 2026. This page is a compilation of links to each of her posts (reposted serially on the FAIR Blog) responding to the CES Letter. After she finished her response to the CES Letter, Sarah began responding to another document (similar to the CES Letter) called Letter for My Wife.
